I am training with a non-profit organization that aims to ensure that individuals and families with disabilities, disorders, unique conditions, life-threatening illness', elderly, and other special needs feel safe and welcomed by photographers. To do this, they offer a certification to photographers who pass their course. In order to complete my certification, I am in need of individuals and families to photograph and submit my work. I may also use these photos on my website, social media, and other platforms. This shoot is flexible to fit your and/or your family's schedule/needs.

There is currently no application deadline for this opportunity as it is an indefinite casting call until I complete my certification!

As a mom of three children with vastly differing needs, I understand the struggle of finding a photographer who is willing to work with you, is understanding and kind, and does a good job. It is my passion to help other families feel safe and welcome, just like Hearts and Lens. I am so eager to finish this course and complete my certification so that I can provide this service to more families in the community!

Criteria:

An individual or family with a member who has a disability, disorder, unique condition, life-threatening illness, elderly, or other special needs.

All models selected for this opportunity will receive:

> Meet and Greets prior to the photoshoot in a less demanding setting to get more familiar with each other and equipment, if needed. >A copy of a social story about getting your picture taken, if needed.

> Up to a 1 hour photoshoot (flexible). > Digital high resolution and professionally edited photos in an online gallery. Free to download (prints are not included).

> Exact location and date/time depending on the comfort level and other needs of the individual.

> Models must consent to allowing their images to be submitted to Heart and Lens for certification as well as used on all of my platforms in support of any Awareness/Acceptance Month posts, and any other related causes as I see fit.

> Models must be willing to provide their own wardrobe (for this shoot type, just casual clothing is fine) as well as their own hair, make up, etc. Suggestions/Tips can be provided upon request.

>Model family must consent to filling out interview forms related to the condition of the individual (Non-English languages will be accomodated as best as possible). > Each member of the model family must consent to signing a Model Release Form.

>Model family will be required to complete multiple surveys throughout the process about the interview forms, my communication, my service, accomodations offered, and the final images.
